These containers are not only microwave safe as well as oven safe (without lid) but also freezer and dishwasher safe. For the logevity of the lunchbox, we always suggest hand washing & drying the lunch box after each use. Surface blemishes may occure over time however these are not harmful or toxic & are a natural factor of stainless steel which can be scrubbed off gently.
The pressure valve on the lid helps seal the box hermetically and facilitates ease of use while opening and closing the box.
Caution: remove the lid before reheating meals in the microwave or oven. Do not heat for more than 3 minutes in the microwave. Use oven mits or safety gloves while removing heated container from the microwave to avoid risk of burning yourself.
